Matthew Broderick’s artistic formation included acting training at HB Studio in New York and early work in theatre workshops and off-Broadway productions, where ensemble rehearsal processes and collaboration shaped his performance skills. He built his stage career through repeated participation in plays by playwrights such as Horton Foote and Neil Simon, and co-founded the Naked Angels theatre company.
