Painkiller (2023)★ 7.6/10

The scheduling, the cinematography, the lighting, the editing pacing, the sound and the acting are all perfectly timed and integrated. Each episode was so exciting and I was immersed the entire time I watched it. Whether it's the capitalist, the marketing team, the justice party or the people at the bottom, the psychological behavior is portrayed in great detail. I saw the gradual fall of the ordinary people and the lowest level, one of the pharmaceutical representatives doubt their own choices, and the helplessness and struggle of the federal prosecutor. At the beginning of each episode there is a real-life case, and after learning about the real events and the death toll, I can truly empathize with the pain of countless families, which at some point was about to consume me. Money makes the world go round; and without moral discipline, sound education and a firm core, human nature begins to waver and society moves towards unrest and destruction.
