I don't hate it, but I can't say I like it either. Overall, it's just a very average family action flick with a lengthy build-up, rushed ending, and cluttered characters. The interactions between a few young actors are decent. However, perhaps only the loyal "One Piece" fans won't be totally disappointed. Honestly, I don't want to sound harsh, but when a series relies solely on nostalgia to attract an audience, it's most likely inadequate as a product.

The plot is quite messy, illogical, and formulaic. It feels like the writers forgot about the content of the previous film while crafting the script for this one. The character development is poorly executed, and many setups come across as cliché, and none of them are fully developed. The portrayal of the antagonist and the successor also feels haphazard, with their appearances, battles, and resolutions seeming arbitrary.

This series had so much potential for creativity but, unfortunately, this one turned out to be quite mediocre. The special effects were lackluster, the originality was lacking, and the humor fell flat—it was just a series of dialogue scenes that left me scratching my head. It was incredibly boring.

The plot is still clichéd and relies too much on evoking nostalgia to grab the audience's attention. I personally found it incredibly boring and unoriginal, with the special effects being the only saving grace. The storyline is a complete mess, following the same formula as the previous movies in the series—first, they capture the ghosts, then they battle the villain. This storytelling formula has been overused and has lost its appeal. All in all, I'd rate it a 4/10.

It's pretty entertaining, but the script is obviously flawed, with the characters' journeys and roles all over the place. The portrayal of the villain is a huge disappointment. The film clearly suffers from a lack of balance in how the three acts are structured, resulting in a hurried and unsatisfying ending, with the characters' emotions falling flat. The third act is a total disaster, and the showdown feels so rushed that it's a shame, considering the strong setup. The exploration of the stepfather-stepdaughter relationship, which was supposed to be a focus, is also hastily wrapped up. Overall, this movie barely manages to be entertaining, with the brief but well-executed thrilling moments being the only saving grace. 5.5/10.

This series is so boring, whether it's the new or old movies. I had really low expectations before watching this movie. It's just a typical, predictable, unoriginal, and boring flick from Hollywood. The only redeeming value is that it's not as bad as the first one, but that doesn't really say much about it anyway.

AMC. The entire story follows the typical formula of a Hollywood popcorn flick, albeit at a slower pace. Honestly, it's not necessary or impactful to try and make the female lead stand out by giving her character these ridiculous mistakes, especially when the only conflict in the early part of the movie was her being unable to be a ghostbuster just because she's 15—like, seriously? The two female lovers' storyline was handled so poorly and blandly. All in all, there's really nothing worth praising about this movie, even the special effects are not inspiring at all.

The trailer outshines the movie big time. They stuffed the movie with so many actors, yet it's hard to see how they really impact the story. The plot feels scattered, dragging the movie along at a snail's pace. And those villains? Totally overacted, not believable at all. Honestly, stick to watching the trailer.

The previous movie really exhausted all its emotional appeal and nostalgia, so we were really hoping this one would be a game-changer. Unfortunately, as the 40th-anniversary commemorative piece of the series, this movie's characters and Easter eggs are even worse than in the previous ones. The old characters have gotten more screen time, but they add little impact or value. The villains are still stuck in their old ways, and that's due to the same problem of poor executions despite good concepts. The only things worth mentioning in this movie are Paul Rudd's effortless and brilliant comedic performance and Mckenna Grace's beauty and charm that can't be hidden under terrible makeup. Honestly, it might have been better not to make sequels unless they had a good script.
