A great movie star regretfully discovers that he no longer films like before
(I won't say if I'm talking about Dalton, Pacino or Tarantino)

Films can change lives, for better or worse. The most tragic cases include Pier Paolo Pasolini, who met a violent end, and Roman Polanski, whose family suffered immensely. Through the lens of Polanski's tragedy, Tarantino crafts a blend of reality and fiction, a nostalgic ode to Hollywood and a love letter to Sharon Tate (portrayed with stunning beauty). Nostalgia often signifies discontent with the present, and the current era can indeed be disappointing.

Quentin Tarantino's most personal and subdued work, yet also his most nostalgic. It's hard to judge the film in a few words as it depends on your connection to the era he pays homage to. I enjoyed it, having done some homework before watching. However, it didn't captivate me like his previous works. The most pitiable character is Brad Pitt's stuntman. Stuntmen in that era were often overlooked and underappreciated. Tarantino handles the Sharon Tate tragedy with remarkable gentleness, marking the 50th anniversary of the event, not only as a tribute to the star but also to Hollywood's golden age.

The Cast is Luxury

It is a movie that requires extremely high knowledge reserves for movie fans, and it is indeed comparable to the ultimate battle in the sense of film history. I didn't do my preparations well, and I enjoyed watching the last 30 minutes, but the first half of the film required too much understanding of Hollywood.

Normal

It’s just a regular movie. I watched it because everybody was saying it was a must. At the end I didn’t hate it, I understand the idea, but I didn’t love it either. I think watching it once is enough.

Perfect

This movie is crucial if you are a Tarantino fan. Besides having a great plot, it has my favorite cast of all of his movies. You must watch it!

Why?

I really don’t know why people loved it so much. This movie has the slowest pace I’ve ever seen. Tarantino is great most of the times, but this definitely wasn’t one of these.

An unstoppable duo

Leonardo DiCaprio invites us to join him on a trip through Hollywood’s Golden age in one of Quentin Tarantino’s most ambitious films. Watching him side by side with Brad Pitt is a dream come true.

One of the best movies about Hollywood

Only Quentin Tarantino could take Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and put them together on the same film that resulted in one of the nest movies about Hollywood to see the light in years.

Tarantino's masterpiece

Brad Pitt is the silent stunt double Cliff Booth, the main character of one of the harshest and most hilarious scenes of the already bloody Quentin Tarantino’s filmography.

A historical collaboration

Quentin Tarantino produces a new gem of cinema with "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood", homage to the Golden age of cowboy movies intertwined with the figure of Charles Manson and the crimes that made him famous.

No es de mis gustos. Alguna cosita del personaje de Brad, alguna idea de los súbditos de Manson. Los vehículos, increíbles.
