Tarantino's top 20 is wild. What are your thoughts on it?

Do you agree with it, do you hate it, do you even care?

It's extremely wacky, but there might be a reason for it. This is the method he used:

"The idea was I didn’t look up anything, I just picked 20 movies straight from my brain, and if I couldn’t remember it, then it doesn’t make it. It had to be memorable. There’s a big thing about the filmmaking. Most of them have aggressive filmmaking. I’m impressed by that.”

Anyways, here's the list:

20. West Side Story

19. Cabin Fever

18. Moneyball

17. Chocolate

16. The Devil's Rejects

15. The Passion of the Christ

14. The School of Rock

13. Jackass

12. Big Bad Wolves

11. Battle Royale

10. Midnight in Paris

9. Shaun of the Dead

8 Mad Max: Fury Road

7. Unstoppable

6. Zodiac

5. There Will Be Blood

4. Dunkirk

3. Lost in Translation

2. Toy Story 3

1. Black Hawk Down

A bit insane, if you ask me. I mean, Jackass should surely be 1, right?

What do you think?

Not good, honestly. Although unsurprised that it's stirred so much debate. I'm convinced he did it for the drama

Did they have to be 21st-century films? Why wouldn't someone like Tarantino, who usually pays homage to classic cinema, include any pre-2000 films? And I'll definitely never understand the love for Lost in Translation and There Will Be Blood.

Pretty crazy. I like a lot of these movies, and the other ones I just haven't seen. So... pretty good i guess? It's definitely personal
