Calvin_HorneJune 23, 2025The Weeknd proves once again that not every musician should act. His performance is flat, and the film’s disorienting use of spinning shots only adds to the chaos. Narratively, it leans toward the abstract, possibly portraying an internal battle among The Weeknd’s fragmented personas. Interpreted as a metaphor for depression and recovery, the film makes a little sense — but only a little.
