The visual effects in this movie are stunning; every frame is breathtakingly beautiful. The soundtrack is also spot on, perfectly enhancing the film’s atmosphere and emotions. Watching this film feels like an incredible adventure that pulls you in completely.

Although life dealt Gump a difficult hand with his low IQ, it blessed him with a natural ability to love, a pure heart, and a mother who adored him. Gump is undeniably fortunate. He doesn’t care about success or failure; to him, doing things well and cherishing those around him is what truly matters. His unexpected success stems from his single-minded focus on doing every task with great care and attention.

It’s an incredibly inspiring film and closely tied to American history (by using special effects that seamlessly blend actors with historical footage). In a way, it’s a subjective representation of American history, considering the significant impact of the social movements and the Vietnam War in the 60s and 70s. However, the film’s excessive idealism is certainly its flaw.

This film explores American political and social history through the growth of an individual, revealing the purest and kindest love and the simplest, most steadfast ideals from the depths of human nature. In Forrest, we can see the weaknesses of so-called "normal people" like self-pity, vanity, greed, and selfishness. It’s a simple yet profoundly moving tearjerker that resonates deeply with audiences, and I'm touched every time I watch it.

Forrest Gump

The film was shown once in a high school English class, and again in college. And we were asked to write an afterthought, speechless... why do these teachers love this kind of movie so much?

The Best Time in VCD Media Era

Everyone has a complex of an enlightenment movie. When I was a child, I was deeply shocked by watching Forrest Gump double VCD. In the art test, I relied on it to get the first grade in my major and started a new dream journey. //When I was just learning movies, I felt like this kind of rotten street movies when I was a child was too low-level and shameful. I don’t understand why the examiner gave me so much encouragement. Now the older I get, the more I feel that mainstream classics are the most attractive, and young people have no talent. But always thinking of showing off skills is scary

I envy Jenny.

I envy Jenny. No matter how rebellious and depraved she is, Forrest Gump will always wait for her.

Timeless classic

An achievement in lovable stories and an iconic character to match, Tom Hanks' performance remains unmatched. Love.

Up to the challenge

This classic of cinema is the perfect choice for those moments in which we find ourselves unworthy of the circumstances. A beautiful testimony about the determination to achieve our goals.
