What Should've Won the Oscar: 2016

Yesterday, we did 1999. Now, let's keep up with internet trends and decide what movie really should've won Best Picture in 2016.

The Winner

Moonlight

The Nominations

Arrival

Fences

Hacksaw Ridge

Hell or High Water

Hidden Figures

La La Land

Lion

Manchester by the Sea

Other Movies from 2016

Captain Fantastic

Nocturnal Animals

20th Century Women

The Lobster

Zootopia

Silence

Hail, Caesar!

My Two Cents

I'm not mad with Moonlight winning, but I'm more surprised by how many movies the Academy nominated that I don't think should've been there. Like Fences…. Hacksaw Ridge…. Lion…. like…. But if I really had my way, I'm going to go with an unexpected pick: Machester by the Sea. Super sad movie, but also absolutely unforgettable. That should've won Best Picture.

Your Pick

Let me know in the comments what movie you would have picked for Best Picture of 2016 and don't forget to tell me why!
