narmanMarch 9, 2024The first three episodes took me on quite a wild ride. It's like "The Boys," but with teenagers. Essentially, it delves into how students juggle school pressures and the social complexities of being superheroes. "Gen V" unfolds alongside "The Boys" timeline, so brace yourself for some cameos from the main series. In my opinion, the weakest link in the story is the main hero, who isn't as relatable or likable as you'd expect for a protagonist. But that's just personal preference, I guess. I mean given her tragic and powerful backstory, you'd anticipate her being at the heart of the narrative. However, the supporting roles shine with better character development, carrying their stories more effectively. Here's hoping the quality picks up as the story unfolds.

berrta2peliculaMarch 9, 2024It's not every day you see a spin-off series outshine the original, but "Gen V" totally pulled it off. Seriously, in many instances, it's even more enjoyable than "The Boys", especially when the characters in the latter started feeling a bit too stereotypical. The characters in "Gen V" are incredibly easy to root for, and the show does this awesome thing where it intertwines real-life struggles and individuality with superpowers: like a girl with blood-bending abilities who also tends to inflict self-harm, an emotionally fragile kid who can hear everyone's thoughts, a child battling an eating disorder... However, the ending does leave you scratching your head. Can't wait for season two.

Stiff_kayMarch 6, 2024As a big fan of "The Boys", I've been looking forward to "Gen V" ever since I first heard about it. My excitement grew after seeing the trailers. After watching the first few episodes, I can say without a doubt that “Gen V” has not only met my expectations but has exceeded them in every way. It's as fast-paced and entertaining as the “The Boys” series. Even though you'd probably enjoy it more if you'd seen “The Boys”, you don't have to have seen that to like this. The action scenes are as good as anything I've seen on TV, exactly as exciting and ridiculous as they are in “The Boys”. I can't stop watching this and really hope they plan on doing several more seasons because I'm hooked.

ÂngeloMarch 6, 2024The show gets off to a strong start but quickly falls flat. The production team packed all the captivating elements into the first three episodes to draw the audience in, but the subsequent episodes feel rushed and poorly done. They resort to the most clichéd and stereotypical superhero storyline, with a draggy narrative and chaotic editing. The only highlight is the diverse representation of skin color and sexual orientation, but it still feels superficial and perfunctory with the mismatch between execution and performance. Ultimately, as a cutting-edge series targeting a Gen Z audience, it should aim to outdo its predecessors rather than stay in its comfort zone.

pedroOctober 13, 2023It's worth all the time I've waited. The heroine has an invincible ability related to blood, which is essential to humans. This ability either kills or heals.

SuperMovieOctober 13, 2023Much like the viewing of The Boys, it's still gore and grotesque oriented. The conspiracies, fake blood and anti-superhero stuff in The Boys becomes after a while, this but transplating it into this spin-off of a teenage school drama was quite refreshing. The genres changed, making the content unique to teen films. It reminds me of watching Carrie.

GIL_GIL_gilSeptember 13, 2024Muito parecida com The Boys, é sangrenta e grotesca.

Me recuerda a Carrie.

Ninja1998September 6, 2024
Ninja1998September 6, 2024Os três primeiros episódios me levaram a um passeio bastante agitado.
