The coolest thing about Interior Chinatown was how the book used second-person narration and a script format to tell the story. But the show plays it way too safe. It's bland, thin, and honestly kind of a letdown. Jimmy O. Yang’s comedic talent feels completely wasted here. Plus, if this is supposed to be set in the '90s, why do so many characters have hairstyles straight out of 2024? It’s distracting.

I don’t get why so many people are complaining about this show—it’s actually brilliant. Supporting characters are always overlooked, endlessly recycled because no one remembers them. But when one dares to step out of line and fight to be the lead? They’re gonna get deleted. That’s profound storytelling right there. And those over-the-top product placements and the parody of classic American detective show intros? That’s clever and funny! I loved it!

¡Me encantó!

Eu adorei!
