wickeremergedDecember 10, 2024The plot is still nonexistent, just a bunch of fighting from start to finish with no real reason behind it.

Paula PardillosMarch 19, 2024The deranged plot, to which the show totally commits in a fun way, not taking itself too serious, is just amazing.

Very interesting return of the mythical Karate Kid saga where it shows us the passing of the years in the characters from the point of view of the antagonist.

Definitely one of THE best spin-off series ever made. I love how all of the cast is so dedicated to the roles they played 40 years ago!

I think this was intended as fan-service but they didn't do a good job. They tried to bring back the dojo but I think they should've left the story where it ended in the las "Karate Kid" movie.

Cobra Kai was a great surprise. I’m a fan of the original movies and was afraid of them ruining it, what didn’t happen. It ended up being a great story. The show has the essence of its origin, and it’s fresh at the same time. I’ll watch every season.

Light_yesSeptember 8, 2021Not very good
It had a lot of potential, but bringing back characters and that were loved in the 1980s can be risky. They exaggerate in the idea of creating nostalgia, and you can get a bit lost if you haven’t watched the movies. If you want to give it a try, I recommend watching it chronologically.
