Excells in writing and characters.
The history of the world is rich and they make you feel it and see it.
Despite not being my favorite, I do commend it for bringing more attention to the dark-fantasy genre.
A Must-Watch.

Me hizo reír, emocionarme y, muchas veces, llorar.

The series' excellence lies not just in its high production values but in its successful adaptation from the original literature, which were warmly approved by the fans of the books. The real strength of "Game of Thrones" is its ability to transform a popular genre into a profound narrative that resonates deeply with its audience.

Following series like "The Sopranos" and "Mad Men," "Game of Thrones" emerges as an epic masterpiece. It proves that the fantasy genre still has much to offer, focusing less on magical creatures and more on a gripping narrative, rich character development, and an intriguing world.

For me, it's one of the best series ever made, and yes, I know about the polemic last season. But to be honest, the last season had amazing episodes with amazing scenes. Obviously, it was a rushed finale, but that was only HBO's fault. I think it was a good ending within expectations. But let's not allow that to ruin this iconic series that will always be a classic. You know how great this was when the big question was, "Which series will become the next Game of Thrones?". This is just legendary!

What can be said about “Game of Thrones” that hasn't already been said? It's universally thought of as one of the best series in the history of television. Look up any "best shows ever" list, and I promise you'll find “Game of Thrones” near the top of every list you'll find. Obviously, everyone knows the last episode was absolutely awful, and even most of the actors have come out to admit they didn't like it. Having said that, it doesn't take away from the show being amazing. One bad episode doesn't take away from the other 72 episodes that were almost perfect! I've watched the entire series twice now, and, if anything, I just appreciate this show even more.

As I reflected on why I didn't enjoy the final season of the show as much, I realized that it's gradually lost that "poetic feel" it used to have. Before, the dialogue between the characters was intriguing—clever, and subtle, with layers of meaning and barbs traded between the lines, which perfectly embodied the essence of "Game of Thrones”, thanks to the original novels. Now, it feels more straightforward and shallow, with dialogue lacking the depth it once had. Even the expressions aren't as vivid as they used to be.

I've only just started watching this show, and it's living up to the hype. It features a vast, unforgiving world and characters with complex motivations, many driven by a pathological greed for power, revenge, and bloodshed. The intimate scenes are intense, yet few are truly infused with love, which is a bit disconcerting. The dragons (fantasy elements) are gradually introduced and slowly built from nuggets of information. This first season is truly just the appetizer.

We don't need to dwell on how well-made it is. Perhaps the greatest significance of this show lies in the fact that it has paved the way for the declining fantasy genre in film and TV. Magic, monsters, and grand spectacles take a back seat to a compelling story, well-developed characters, and an obscure yet complete worldview. What's even more valuable is that as an adaptation, most fans of the novel also hold this show in high regard. It's truly a masterpiece.

Who is the hero?

Contains spoilers
Every episode I was angrier about what they did to some of the most important characters. Jon Snow is the perfect example. They decided to make him the hero of the show, but at the end he neither killed the Night King nor became the king of the throne he deserved as a Targaryen. That’s definitely a reflex of how lazy D&D were in seasons 7 and 8.

All about the action

Contains spoilers
I wish I could, but I can’t watch this show. The episodes are very long and there are too many characters and places, I get lost all the time. Despite that, I can’t deny that they do the best action scenes on TV, the Battle of the Bastards is one of a kind.
