Rafael_EdwardsAugust 1, 2024It's way better than expected. The plot was engaging, and the cinematography was really stunning. It had a lot of sexual tension going on, too. And Daphne Bridgerton is a total knockout. As for any sequels, I don't think they'd be as good without Simon and Daphne, so wrapping it up here is just right. If you're a fan of Jane Austen or chick flicks, you gotta check this out.

Edwin_PriceJuly 7, 2024Even though some plot twists are a bit rushed and overly simple, this show captures the complexity of modern British society. It keeps emphasizing feminist themes and tackles issues like mixed-race marriages, open relationships, late-in-life romances, and others. This series is definitely a highlight for the current British society. In the third season, the stories and character arcs of the supporting roles and former antagonists have improved even more.

Angela_EvansJuly 7, 2024Although this series has been so popular, I'm a bit disappointed with the two main actors in this season. The guy's acting is a bit too corny, and the girl seems a bit unnatural on screen. I don't really enjoy watching their romantic scenes. Luckily, Francesca's casting has been changed, but I'm not really into the new guy either. I tend to skip through scenes with the main leads because the plot with Cressida is way more interesting.

Oliver_GravesJune 6, 2024There's something truly magical about this show. While it may seem like a typical love story, occasional key lines reveal more profound thoughts on progress. I was actually quite surprised by the character portrayal of Queen Charlotte; for me, it's particularly noteworthy as it explains the underlying reasons behind the villainous female character's behavior. Honestly, the original work itself is poorly written, but I believe the adapted series has done a decent job of bringing it to life.

Arianna_SantosJune 6, 2024Actually, the second season is much better than the first. The first season became boring halfway through, but this season is full of drama and humor from start to finish. The only thing I didn't like was the clichéd love triangle between the male and female leads. However, the dialogue throughout the series is fantastic, and the actors' accents are spot-on. It's enjoyable even if you just watch it as a fictional romantic drama.

Joseph_ParkerJune 6, 2024The second season feels more like a tragedy than the first season did. Two scenes that I was really looking forward to were actually rewritten. This season comes across as a bit preachy, putting too much emphasis on the importance of true love, which left me feeling a bit exhausted. Kate's casting and acting didn't really stand out, failing to fully capture the essence of the character. However, each character's image is more clearly defined in this season, with their beliefs mostly centered around family while showing subtle differences.

Bailey_PorterMay 22, 2024In my opinion, the plot in the first four episodes doesn't live up to the original novel. The story moves too fast, and there are way too many side stories. When I read the book, I really enjoyed the part where they sneakily read each other's diaries and have significant written conversations. It felt like the beginning of their love story. But in the show, those scenes were rushed and poorly executed. Plus, the ending of the fourth episode felt too hurried. But I still absolutely adore Penelope Featherington.

CristianoMay 22, 2024This season's storyline is so dull and cringeworthy, nothing like what I had in mind. And Penelope Featherington, who was so charming and talented in the previous seasons, has become incredibly dull this time. I'm just not into characters who obsess over their love lives. And seriously, did the writers just recycle the same old plot structure from season one? I'll give it a generous 4 out of 10 solely for Jonathan Bailey, as he's much cooler this season than the previous ones. Seriously, this season deserves a lot less.

lexieeFebruary 16, 2024I loved it! A delightful watch, light-hearted with beautiful settings and costumes! In my opinion, among period dramas, it's one of the best, with a wonderful romance! I wish there were more series like this.

Lady Whistledown being revealed in season 1 was a terrible idea. In the books, they take half of the saga to tell the readers the truth, so the mystery is important for a long time. At least they didn’t change the character.

There could easily be one or two extra episodes, the show would benefit of more time. Despite that, we quickly fall in love for some characters, while hating others. P.S.: I knew since the beginning who Lady Whistledown was, but still loved it.
