Jairo DiademaNovember 18, 2025This movie was quite surprising. It exceeded my expectations; it's a good movie to watch after lunch, very light, with some really funny parts and some sad moments.

Nancy_ConleySeptember 15, 2025A delightful surprise, the film distinguishes itself among female-led stories by fully committing to its perspective—it’s one of the few films where the idea of “no one cares about Ken” actually lands. The men are objectified and symbolic by design, yet the screenplay remains tightly constructed, allowing the characters’ emotional arcs to feel organic rather than forced.

Zion_EnglishSeptember 15, 2025Lighthearted and consistently funny, "Freakier Friday" delivers a rare blend of laughs and heart. The humor flows naturally from misunderstandings between characters, and as the barriers between them break down, the film builds toward moments of genuine warmth and connection. It’s been years since a comedy felt this effortlessly enjoyable.

StevenCsMoviesAugust 18, 2025
StevenCsMoviesAugust 18, 2025When I heard they were making a sequel to FREAKY FRIDAY 22 years after it released, I wasn’t really enthused. Normally, sequels made that far down the road aren’t portrayed very well or feel like a cash-grab. I’m happy to report that FREAKIER FRIDAY is actually great. It’s a legacy sequel that doesn’t just throw in the older cast for no reason. They are all part of the plot, in very funny ways that are more evolved than the original. This has a very similar story and structure to the original, which can be repetitive if you’ve just watched that one. In this one though, Anna (Lindsay Lohan) now has her own daughter, Harper (Julia Butters). She meets absolute hunk of man Eric (Manny Jacinto). One montage later and their wedding is coming up. Eric has his own daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons). You got all that? Great, now they all swap bodies in a freakier way. At times, I got confused as to what character is playing who, but for the most part, I was just having a great time laughing my butt off at the consistent, mostly ageist, humor that was very on point. I enjoyed the small details that I almost missed. It was also fun seeing the old cast back after all this time. Jamie Lee Curtis is as amazing as always. It was like no time had passed for her and Lohan. This movie has some real and emotional moments that I didn’t see coming. It has a very good message about parenting, and how hard it could be to move on after losing a parent. If FREAKY FRIDAY defined your childhood, you’re gonna love FREAKIER FRIDAY, possibly with your own kids.
