It's not the type of flick that leaves you all happy-go-lucky, but there's something about it that draws you in, making you ponder the human dynamics and power plays lurking behind the headlines.

This drama's got that documentary vibe going on. The actors, especially the leading lady, knocked it out of the park. It's well-paced without any dragging or forced drama. The tension between the host and Andrew in the interviews made me glued to the screen; I was so into it that I just lost track of time. Seriously. They touch on some journalism ideals briefly. And even though it's not groundbreaking, and you can kinda predict where it's going, those 100 minutes flew by because the storytelling was so honest and gripping.

The plot could use a bit more depth, and the climax kinda just drops without enough buildup. This flick mainly follows a news producer's perspective and dives into the nitty-gritty of news reporting coming to life. But it falls short of exposing juicy scandals and lacks that punchy critique. Still, it keeps it real, which is refreshing. The casting's on point, bringing in some top-notch actresses, even though they only get a little time to shine, which is kinda a bummer.

This movie has such a documentary vibe that you almost forget it's supposed to be entertaining. It's tough to nail those subtle emotional swings, but it just has this really polished and sophisticated style.

Billie’s extraordinary performance is a lifesaver as always. It's more of a film about women in journalism, but the lack of depth in both the characters and the truth-telling nature of journalism made it feel like another boring bts documentary. And I can’t even feel the “female solidarity” that they are obviously trying to convey to the audience.

O elenco, especialmente a protagonista, arrasaram.
