eRRodrigo7July 22, 2024It's like they tried to cram too much stuff into the movie, ending up having elements all over the place. Some human stuff could've been cut down or even left out altogether to make the movie tighter. King Kong is the show's star, while Godzilla is barely in it as if he's just there for the final fight. As for the action, it's not as good as in the first film of this series. There are not many surprises or moments that'll really blow me away. And Skar King, as the villain, just wasn't up to snuff.

jacinto@SJuly 22, 2024"Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" is all about visual eye candy. It's a total VFX extravaganza with insane fight scenes that'll have you on the edge of your seat. But the story's a bit barebone. It's like they didn't consider making it deep or complex. Still, I gotta say, I'm a huge King Kong fan. His sense of justice, responsibility, and that whole sense of belonging is all pretty amazing. But Skar King is just meh. On the other hand, that scene where Godzilla goes to the Rome Colosseum was cool.

Carl_BridgesJune 23, 2024I think this movie would be super cool if I were young kid. It meets all the expectations for a monster movie, with exciting climactic moments every few minutes and plenty of thrilling action scenes. However, the film feels a bit too predictable, especially regarding the little girl's character. I just don't think her character's enough to carry the entire human side of the storyline.

Antonio_LeJune 23, 2024Honestly, I'm kind of tired of monster movies. I've been watching many of them recently, and it just made me hate the aspects of this genre that I already disliked. But objectively speaking, as a visually stunning monster movie, this film is still a decent choice for viewers who want to escape reality and delve into a world of fantasy.

Cara_CopelandMay 22, 2024In this movie, King Kong unexpectedly discovers his long-lost tribe. He naturally desires peace, but unfortunately, war still calls out to him. King Kong and Godzilla team up with their fighting skills leveled up. The real standout of the film is Mini Kong. He's agile, quick, precise, and has this adorable yet powerful and cocky attitude. Plus, this movie really highlights King Kong's heroic spirit and the legacy of his power.

Amanda_FlynnApril 25, 2024I seriously question the need for more sequels in this series. Ever since the last movie, it's been flooded with cheesy comedy elements, turning the whole franchise into a childish game with zero seriousness in the storytelling. I mean, what's the point of Godzilla if it completely loses touch with reality? It's just become another tired cliché in popcorn movies, and it's honestly pretty disappointing.

antónio031April 25, 2024This movie has such a cool retro feel, but the storytelling is messy and full of stereotypes. But you know what? I came here for the monsters, and they definitely delivered! It's actually a pretty solid popcorn flick, and you gotta catch it on the big screen, not just on streaming platforms.

Avery_LarsenApril 25, 2024I gotta admit, I started losing interest as I got deeper into the movie. It's cool that the humans don't steal the spotlight from the monsters anymore, which definitely enhances the viewing experience. But now it feels like the whole story relies too heavily on King Kong alone, and that overly humanized treatment in this flick just drained me. The scenes are epic, and the action is intense, but this series is starting to feel a bit cookie-cutter and boring.

Lloyd_ParksApril 25, 2024This monster movie is off the charts! It's a fantastic follow-up to the Monster Universe. It really cranks up the excitement by focusing on the intense monster battles and interactions while skimping a bit on the human storylines. The tight and well-structured plot shows that the production team went all-in on the special effects. Of course, in a monster-packed action flick like this, we shouldn't sweat the small stuff like character development and plot twists.

Edmund_HernandezApril 19, 2024It's a flick for the whole family and a real spectacle on the big screen. The story's massive, cramming in a dual narrative adventure and world-building into just two hours. But, man, the exploration bits feel rushed. There are some real snoozers with the human segments, but luckily, not too many. The monsters take the spotlight, and their battles are seriously something to see. Adding more human-like traits to them is kinda interesting. But, man, focusing solely on the big visual wow moments is still the movie's biggest drawback.

Briana_WhiteApril 19, 2024It falls way short compared to the last one, but it barely squeaks by. They keep giving King Kong all these human-like emotions, ruining the monster's vibe. Godzilla fares a bit better since it's not in as many scenes. I just don't think they should humanize them too much, whether Godzilla-sized or a mid-sized creature like the alien. It's that air of mystery that makes them truly awe-inspiring. The human parts are still unnecessary and cliché; there's just too much of it. Not my cup of tea.
