Heads of State (2025)★ 6.6/10

The production is slick and the action well-executed, though the film also tries to juggle heavy-handed metaphors, political satire, and ideological monologues. A good thirty minutes of overwrought dialogue could have been trimmed to give the film a better rhythm and tighter pace.

The plot isn’t exactly groundbreaking—assassination plots and power games we’ve seen before—but the tone is breezy and fun. The pacing is impressively tight, and it's been a while since Hollywood delivered an action flick that didn’t overstay its welcome. Some of the visual effects, though, are noticeably cheap.

"Heads of State" is a mixed bag that still manages to entertain. With its energetic blend of political satire and action comedy, the film doesn’t always hit the mark, but it brings a welcome irreverence to the genre and offers a refreshing popcorn-flick experience.

Pairing the U.S. and U.K. presidents on a joint mission feels like a fresh setup, yet the plot and villains quickly fall into tired tropes. This might be the start of a new action subgenre—political satire meets absurdist comedy meets spy thriller. The storyline veers so far off the rails it feels like AI-generated chaos, but some of the dialogue is unexpectedly hilarious.

Excelente pelicula
