While the main storyline is overly simplistic, the details are thoughtfully crafted and packed with humor. The kids with their various troubles and imperfections are far more interesting than Leo, the preachy lizard. The chatty little girl and the lonely, empty drone are especially endearing.

Taking the perspective of lizards and turtles sheds light on the worries of these ten-year-old children. Fundamentally, they seek understanding, trust, and companionship. With empathy, experience, and wisdom, all problems can be resolved. It's all about how you approach them. They articulate the concerns of the children effectively, enough to prompt a teacher to turn over a new leaf. Additionally, the variety of animal performances, the abundant humor, and the profound insights are truly impressive. The part where the science-loving little girl recalls her grandfather is particularly touching.

Children can't understand it, and those who can have already outgrown this kind of animation. So, this is another one of those movies made by desperate adults who think they understand children or are just trying to reminisce about their past. In short, this movie is really just a result of self-appreciation and self-indulgence. Also, I don't understand why they have to sing in the movie all the time like it's a Disney musical, especially when the songs aren't even good.

It's surprisingly good! The scripting can be rough sometimes, evident in the vague motives behind the main character's decisions. Adam Sandler seemed to have gotten a little carried away because he was literally speaking through Leo's mouth. However, the plot is genuinely impressive in that every key moment in the film gets recalled towards the end, which is a prime example of "Lubitsch Touch.”

It's an animated movie with positive messages and good intentions. However, it seems to oversimplify the concept of education. Kids don't just become "good" from a session of counseling. This whole idea is frankly pretty naive. While I don't think this movie even deserves a 6 out of 10, Leo the Lizard is rather vividly portrayed. Leo's almost human-like expressions are a testament to the production team's expertise in making commercial films.

Adam Sandler's voice acting and singing are fantastic, perfectly complementing 'Leo' in the movie. The story is quite cliché, but it doesn't really matter. It’s just a lighthearted, touching film (especially the drone droid) for the whole family. Additionally, it teaches some moral lessons without being didactic. Overall, it's not a bad movie at all.

This movie teaches moral lessons and talks about the challenges kids face growing up, through the perspective and words of 'Leo the Lizard'. 'Transformation' is the central theme, be it Leo, the kids, Squirtle, or Ms. Malkin, as they all undergo remarkable paradigm shifts that make them better versions of themselves. The story is heartwarming and therapeutic. It's perfect for a cozy winter night with a cup of hot chocolate.

I haven't seen such a heartwarming and joyful animation in a long time. Written by famous comedian Adam Sandler, who also voice-acted in the film. This film is set in 2023, thus it is super relevant. It's hilarious and educational. While the story seems to be targeted at kids, it is actually pretty enjoyable to watch as adults. It made me want to relive my life in elementary school. There was 'Lyle', the crocodile singer last year, and here we have 'Leo', the Lizard educator. Why do I feel so inadequate compared to these two talented reptiles?
