I've never been someone who can truly appreciate poetry. But this story—with its beautiful dialogue and gentle pacing—managed to bring Sassoon's verses to life in a way that truly moved me.

Terence Davies' script is brilliant—the dialogue is sharp, funny, and really enjoyable. Plus, with Jack Lowden’s good looks, the 130-minute movie doesn’t feel nearly as long as it seems.

Nunca he sido alguien que aprecie realmente la poesía. Pero esta historia, con sus bellos diálogos y su ritmo suave, consiguió dar vida a los versos de Sassoon de una forma que me conmovió de verdad.
