MarshaAugust 15, 2024This film strikes a balance between art and commerce, story and spectacle, something that many blockbusters struggle to achieve. I’d call it a legend, not just because it expands on a grand and magnificent world, or because of its meticulous and heartfelt production, but because it’s a fairy tale where everyone can find a piece of their childhood dream.

beepbeepAugust 15, 2024Personally, I didn’t find much difference in viewing experience compared to the first two films. The music and sound effects are excellent, and while the plot is simple and the character relationships straightforward, the scenes that left a lasting impression are the monstrous creature in the Sarlacc Pit and the gigantic maw at the execution site, both which are quite shocking to see. And of course, the Ewoks on Endor, with their panda-like physique and brown fur, are utterly adorable.

Arnold_McmahonAugust 1, 2024This masterpiece is just perfect. It totally blew me away. From the film's middle part to the part where the Death Star gets blown up, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for even a moment. And even though the movie isn't all about emotional drama, some scenes really got to me – like when Luke does that pyre ceremony for Darth Vader and when Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin's spirits share a smile. Those moments were just so deep and meaningful.

Dennis_MartinAugust 1, 2024This movie really brings it home as the finale of the original trilogy. The production value is top-notch. Yeah, the first half might feel a little slow and boring, but once the plot starts rolling, it really gets better, and the tension just keeps building. And when Darth Vader's mask comes off, it means that he finds redemption; it's like a whole new side of him. It shows how strong family ties can be and it turns him into a tragic hero that people will remember for a long time.

Ben_PenaAugust 1, 2024I finally watched the last movie in the trilogy, and I gotta say, it's a pretty great way to end things. Yeah, I know the media reviews weren't all that great, maybe because the ground battles weren't that exciting, and Luke's final decision was kind of predictable and unsatisfying. But for me, this movie was totally satisfying. Especially the lightsaber battles—they're seriously the best in the whole original trilogy.

Harold_GuadalupeAugust 1, 2024As the last movie in the Star Wars trilogy, this one just didn't quite live up to the hype. I mean, the Star Wars series really changed the game for space sci-fi, but the THX technology in this film didn't do much for me. The practical effects looked more like furry toys, and that's just not what audiences want anymore.

Andria_ByrdJune 12, 2024Revisiting the original trilogy for its conclusion, I realized just how monumental they are for the entire film industry. The theme of hatred and warmongering leading to destruction, and the hero's dilemma of killing or being killed, remains relevant.

Wesley_ThompsonJune 12, 2024The director of "Episode VI" falls short compared to George Lucas and Irvin Kershner of the previous installments. This film, intended to elevate the series, instead made people realize that Star Wars wasn't infallible. It's essentially a rehash of "Episode IV," even replicating the easy destruction of the Death Star, which "Rogue One" later fixed.

CinemaginandoMarch 24, 2021The end of an era
The last movie of the first Star Wars trilogy is a whirlwind of emotions. The long journey through space of one of the most acclaimed sagas in history comes to an end and gives room for new adventures.
