- In this iconic classic western directed by Sam Peckinpah, a group of aging outlaws, led by Pike Bishop, are about to commit one last daring robbery. Set in 1913, the gang is confronted by the changing times and cornered by bounty hunters and the mexican army. The film was controversial for its graphic violence, while its editing is notable for its use of multiple camera angles with quick cuts and infrequent use of slow motion.
