It has that fun outsider but hero vibe. Very fun watch

The film's pacing is excellent, keeping the audience engaged with constant surprises. It tells us that everyone has their own inescapable fates, but if you're strong enough, you can fight against your destiny. The special effects are top-notch, particularly the scene of opening the hell gate. Guillermo del Toro's meticulous attention to detail is evident, showcasing his exceptional skills.

Hellboy is depicted as tall, muscular, and ugly, confined in a special facility. He is childlike on the inside, and saving the world was merely a showcase of his strength. What he truly desires is to be with the girl he loves, which is different from the typical hero films centered on saving the world.

I had really high hopes for this movie because of Guillermo del Toro's reputation, but man, it turned out to be pretty mediocre. Honestly, it didn't even come close to being decent in my book. The character of Hellboy, who seemed like he could've been awesome, just fell flat with nothing exciting beyond his looks. And let me tell you, the storyline was so outdated and cliché, with plot twists that made no sense and action scenes that failed to impress. All these flaws really dragged the whole movie down. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

This movie is a truly one-of-a-kind adaptation of a comic book. I think the way it was brought to the screen is really well done, and it even incorporates elements from World War II, introducing fascinating characters. The humor from the male lead adds an extra layer of comedic relief, and personally, I think it surpasses the second film in the entire series.

This story is absolutely captivating and engaging! All a movie needs to be is good and keeps you hooked. And this movie really keeps me hooked from start to finish, with no dull moments. The character design is visually stunning and shines a light on their unique personalities. Low expectation, high satisfaction.

With a legendary performance of Ron Pearlman, Guillermo del Toro combines his wonderful imagination with Mike Mignola's dark universe, resulting in one of the best production designs of the superhero genre.

Superhéroes con alma de monstruos. Del Toro redefine el género con humor, melancolía y estética infernal.

Eu tinha grandes esperanças por causa da reputação de Guillermo del Toro, mas cara, acabou sendo bem fraco. Honestamente, não chegou nem perto de ser decente. O protagonista, que parecia ser incrível, simplesmente não tem nada de emocionante além de sua aparência. O enredo é desatualizado e clichê, com reviravoltas que não faziam sentido e cenas de ação que não impressionaram. Todas essas falhas arrastaram todo o filme. Eu daria 5 de 10.

É uma adaptação verdadeiramente única de uma história em quadrinhos. Acho que a forma como foi levado para a tela é muito bem feita, até mesmo incorporando elementos da Segunda Guerra, e introduzindo personagens fascinantes. O humor do protagonista adiciona uma camada extra de alívio cômico e, pessoalmente, acho que supera o segundo filme.
