It is not the best film I have ever seen, but the first movie that comes to my mind when I feel sad, lost, and wandering in love. It tells me that life is not the support and love of two people, but the real creepy loneliness. It is the deep despair and helplessness of being so close but not being able to fully own each other. It was cold in the middle of the night, which made people feel chilled.

Esta historia me pega porque retrata lo que muchas parejas viven en silencio la frustración de los sueños rotos. Leonardo DiCaprio y Kate Winslet se reencuentran después de Titanic, pero esta vez no hay romanticismo, sino una relación que se asfixia entre las expectativas y el conformismo. Me gusta cómo desnuda esa lucha entre lo que uno quiere ser y lo que termina siendo. Es incómoda de ver porque toca la fibra de lo cotidiano planes que no se cumplen, ambiciones que se mueren y un amor que se va secando. Es un retrato honesto y devastador del matrimonio.

Verlos juntos siempre será un placer, es como si la química hubiera hecho el match perfecto con ellos. En este drama no deccepcionan y sonde aplaudir las dos interpretaciones.

Un relato profundo y doloroso encarnado en una de las parejas de la actuación más amadas: Leonardo Dicrapio y Kate Winslet quien nos traen en esta cinta la historia de una joven pareja de casados que luchan por criar su hijo y enfrentar muchos dilemas personales donde se cuestionan su libertad y todo lo que conlleva encajar en lo que dicta la sociedad para vivir una vida digna y acpetada por la sociedad. Con unos dialogos que te vuelan la cabeza este drama es digno de llamarse obra maestra.
