A fun action comedy that leans into its stunt world chaos. Ryan Gosling carries the film with effortless charm and self-aware humor, while the stunt sequences are genuinely the highlight. The story is predictable, but it doesn’t really matter. 7/10

Alright, so after the first half hour, I was only gonna give this movie a 4 out of 10. I mean, I probably wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for Ryan Gosling. It just seemed like a typical, easy-to-watch, kind of boring movie at first. But then, as the story went on, I started to see what was special about it. It had all these exciting parts and crazy action stunts that kept me hooked. And it made me realize how much work goes on behind the scenes to make a movie. I could see how everyone worked together and how hard the stunt people pushed themselves to make it great. That really got me into the film.

This is a solid popcorn movie. Ryan Gosling absolutely nails it with his comedic timing and action sequences. The premise is refreshing, highlighting the journey of stunt performers as they transition from background characters to leading roles. The film seamlessly combines romance, humor, and exhilarating, hilarious fight scenes. The soundtrack is simply perfect. It's a top-notch, humorous action comedy, with well-executed special effects. The only minor drawback is that the pacing can sometimes feel sluggish.

This movie delivers romance and spectacular, larger-than-life actions! It offers an awe-inspiring audiovisual feast that leaves me speechless. From start to finish, there's never a dull moment. You'll witness thrilling and intense stunt scenes, like high-speed car chases, explosive sequences, and even skydiving, all guaranteed to make your adrenaline soar. Watching all of this unfold on the big screen is incredibly exciting! Cheers, and immense respect to the director!

This highly enjoyable popcorn movie allows you to experience the sweetness of romance while showcasing thrilling explosions and chaos. It brings the audience joy and sheds light on the demanding profession of stunt performers. As someone who works in the film industry, I'm genuinely excited to see the on-set chaos unfold on the big screen. Additionally, it captures the attitudes and amusing expressions of A-list stars, the hard work and concerns of new directors, the smooth-talking and shameless schemes of seasoned producers, and the precise execution of high-intensity action sequences by the dedicated stunt crew. It authentically portrays the intricate process of film production.

This movie presents the story of stunt performers in a stylized and fictionalized manner rather than in a documentary-style approach. The plot has its ups and downs, incorporating standard practice seen in crime films where the stunt performer takes the hit for the actual actor. Alongside this, there's a subplot involving a romantic entanglement between the male and female leads. Overall, it's pretty entertaining, particularly in how the fictionalized movie production intertwines with the real-life emotions of the characters.

This movie is the director's tribute to his background in the stunt performing industry. He tries to prove that a movie can't work without stunt performers, but after watching the whole film, you'll instead learn that relying solely on stunts isn't enough. Because aside from those stunt scenes, the rest of this movie is just plain uninteresting. The plot is outdated and boring, and the romantic storyline feels forced and out of place. The whole story isn't engaging, and the pacing is poorly balanced.

This is a lighthearted and enjoyable film. It also gave me a glimpse into the stories behind stunt performers for the first time. It's pretty hard to imagine how many falls and pains those "fall guys" endure behind the scenes, but they always emerge strong and positive with a thumbs-up. What really touched me was seeing the stunt performers' names listed in the end credits. A true tribute to them. The movie also surprises me with various references to action and fantasy films. The romantic storyline is pretty good, as well.

Better than I imagined. It's a commercial film packed with references and nods to other movies, with a relatively engaging plot. Ryan Gosling is still excellent and charming. Hopefully, in the future, we'll see him reach greater heights. Additionally, besides the main characters, there are other actors I really like, such as Hannah Waddingham and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

This movie is incredibly cool and enjoyable, with nonstop jokes throughout. It pays homage to many classic films and gives people in the film industry a chance to celebrate their contributions. The scene where the male lead jumps from the helicopter at the end is undeniably awesome. However, the antagonist is a bit stereotypical, but that is a common issue in many Hollywood movies.

I have to say, this movie is surprisingly satisfying, surpassing my expectations. It's been quite some time since I've genuinely enjoyed a popcorn flick. What sets this movie apart is its clever fusion of elements from different action and sci-fi films. Some moments pay homage to the classics, and some of the most thrilling scenes involve high-speed vehicle races that made me feel like I was right in the latest "Fast and Furious" films. They really nailed it in that department.
