I give this one a tremendous die, like training a dragon

It exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. Overall, it's better than the second movie in the trilogy, but at the same time, it feels somewhat simplistic. The characters lack development, and the depiction of their struggles and decisions feels rushed. The villain is also a tired cliché, and the ending of the epic battle feels somewhat hurried. However, the ending is brilliantly crafted, and as a loyal fan, it definitely moved me.

As a finale, it's perfect. The story is somewhat creative, and most importantly, each character undergoes personal growth and finds a satisfying resolution, providing a perfect ending to the trilogy. However, objectively speaking, it falls short as a standalone work. Yes, it's a good story, but it is poorly executed, with many crucial scenes rushing by and an insufficient exploration of the characters' emotions. Thankfully, the visual effects are impressive, although still not as good as the previous one. Regardless, it's probably the best way to conclude this film.

It's definitely well-produced, but the plot feels like it's just going through the motions. The conclusion of this trilogy signifies the end of this intellectual property, and the technical improvements definitely enhance the overall viewing experience. Overall, this film serves as a proper farewell to the fans, but the entire process feels rushed and leaves something to be desired.

I can see that the movie attempts to explore how the protagonist breaks free from his reliance on Toothless and becomes an independent leader to protect his home. However, the story was written poorly. Furthermore, despite the villain being designed to threaten the main character, the portrayal of the villain is quite weak, which hampers the story's development. It's not until the third act that a real confrontation occurs between the villain and the protagonists. Overall, this movie falls far short of being well-made.

It's OK to portray the dragons as pets, but I can't tolerate the clichéd plot and dull visuals. The pacing is chaotic and rough, and the overall story feels poorly constructed and uninteresting. 10 minutes in I was already regretting it.

While it remains a straightforward children's story, it teaches a simple yet valuable lesson within the context of the film: dragons are not our pets but our friends. On a deeper level, the film emphasizes the importance of respecting the autonomy of all beings. As possibly the last installment in the series, it fails to surpass the first movie in terms of character development and storytelling allure. The film suffers from lengthy, dull dialogues and scenes, with a blurred line between the main plot and subplots, leaving the narrative focus unclear.

The end of a saga

This film ends the story of Hiccup and Toothless, but opens up a world of possibilities for the imagination. It represents the closing of one of the most endearing sagas of DreamWorks filmography.

About maturity

This is the last film of the "How to Train Your Dragon" saga, a movie with an impressive animation that deals with the process of maturity and responsibility when acting as a leader.
