It was a fun ride, and often felt as though they would continue to top themselves with these films. But this was the right place to end the ride of the Avengers doing their best to save the world, save the team and save themselves. It was quite an experience to watch this and Infinity War in the theatre with a crowd that was there for every high and low, and it was also edifying to see Robert Downey, Jr. close his role as Tony Stark with the ultimate sacrifice. We all ''loved him 3000'', and he was also the reason why I saw ''Iron Man'' several times and hoped that he could help carry us all with him.
A happy cinematic memory.

This movie is the perfect way to wrap up Marvel's first 21 films and a great farewell to iconic characters like Captain America and Iron Man. It's been a huge success at the box office, and it's definitely a major milestone in the MCU.

Before the movie started, I was sitting there feeling super nervous, thinking about how I was finally going to witness this epic final battle. As the Fortnite scenes unfolded, it felt like I was transported back in time. I couldn't help but get emotional when all the Avengers came together, and Tony made that ultimate sacrifice. I don't know if it was because it was so heartfelt or just because I've been into this stuff since I was a kid.

This finale keeps the momentum rolling from the third movie in the series, but it's got a more focused storyline that ties everything together nicely. The production values are still top-notch, and even though there aren't a ton of crazy special effects, the story still holds up. But I gotta say, I think it could've benefited from being a little shorter – three hours is a pretty long haul. Plus, all those superheroes with similar looks start to feel a bit repetitive after a while. And if you're gonna bring together different storylines, just make sure it's not too confusing for the audience.

The film marks a significant conclusion for the "Marvel Cinematic Universe." Besides the end credits recap, the time-travel sequences offer a grand reunion of past characters, even including unexpected appearances like Natalie Portman’s. The movie resolved the previous installment's major plot holes, continuously surprising us despite staying within the expected conclusion. The emotional journey starts 15 minutes into the film, culminating in Iron Man's heartfelt "I love you 3000."

Tony Stark vowed to retire and spend time with his family, yet ultimately chose to return to the fight because of his sense of duty. Captain America missed his date with Peggy Carter and the following 70 years with her, later attending her funeral; thank god the director gave him a perfect ending. Black Widow's nobility, grandeur, bravery, and fearlessness position her alongside Iron Man as one of the greatest Avengers. Thor's farewell to his mother and Tony's reconciliation with his father were deeply moving. Captain America made up for his biggest regret, Banner made peace with the Hulk, Hawkeye reunited with his family, and Black Widow found her family in the Avengers. The ending was perfect and tear-jerking.

Upon reflection, the film's dialogue were disappointingly subpar, relying on nostalgia (to its detriment) and riddled with logical inconsistencies. While the final battle was visually appealing, the emotional rollercoaster was primarily driven by the fates of beloved characters, rather than the film's core message.

I had no interest in the earlier Avengers installments due to the battle scenes which feature far too many people at once. For me, Endgame offered a substantial respite. It diverts from the usual reliance on action scenes and instead thoughtfully addresses the aftermath of its predecessor. It's the peak of MCU, a farewell that tugs at the collective memory and culminating in the final stages of the emotional journey of its audience.

I never really liked The Avengers 1-3, especially due to the excessive battle scenes. Avengers 4 was a welcome change. It doesn't rely solely on battle scenes but takes time to address the consequences of the previous film. As you stare at "time", "time" also stares back at you. This installment is the pinnacle of the entire Marvel Universe, marking the end of an eleven-year journey and evoking the audience's memories and emotional connections with their favorite characters and stories.
