When was the last time you cried over a comic-book? I was an avid collector as a child, and when ''Iron Man'' came out and Marvel decided to take a risk on a recovering actor to lead the way, I was prepared for some disappointments.
Well, shame on me.
I do not care what any of the old guard (cough, Scorsese) say about comic-book films. If the audience is moved by them, then they have done their job, and the theatre I watched this one in proves my point. There was a silence at the end of the movie that even a pin drop could not disturb, with tears and sobs echoing quietly in the room. I was not immune, even if I expected those losses and knew that the show would go on.
It was an epic ride that simply had to get better.
Well done.

This was the first time I was truly excited for a movie of this magnitude. The trailers misled but I was okay with it because in the end, this movie delivers!

One of my favorite superhero movies, with stunning visuals and excellently crafted ensemble scenes. Despite ending on a cliffhanger, the narrative feels complete and satisfying and not like a prolonged teaser. The antagonist is exceptionally compelling, with intriguing motivations and controversial actions, underscoring the tremendous challenge the heroes face. The synergy between the heroes and Thanos is palpable. Captain America's entrance at the beginning remains iconic; it remains engraved in my memories years later.

"Avengers: Infinity War," with its assembly of 23 superheroes, is the one of the most ambitious Marvel film to date. The audience is exhilarated by the grand gathering, and Thanos, Marvel's most formidable villain yet, delivers a performance that is both intense and memorable with his sheer madness and oppressive presence on the big screen.

The more characters in an ensemble cast, the more crucial it is for one or two characters to take the spotlight in the story. The director's choice of Thanos is okay, but the issue is that it's all talk and no action. His motivations are just a few lines of reasoning, and his decisions and sacrifices aren't convincingly portrayed. How can the audience then feel emotionally invested in him? With too many heroes to focus on, the director seems overwhelmed, resulting in all the characters except Wanda and Vision feeling like robotic placeholders.

I used to think I didn't care much for Marvel movies. But "Avengers: Infinity War" changed my mind completely. Marvel has this knack for making you deeply attached to every character, and there were moments in the movie that genuinely moved me to tears. This is the first Marvel movie that had me so emotionally invested. The pacing, visuals, and the raw emotions portrayed throughout the film are simply top-notch!

Avengers: Infinity War

It's too tragic, but I still worship the 10-year power of Marvel... How much do we have to lose?

Almost the end

This was a good way to start the end of this Marvel era. It’s the first time we see all the characters together. Ok, not really together, but in the same movie. As we have groups or heroes fighting their battles, the movie is very long. They keep changing the focus all the time, so there’s not one main character to follow the whole movie, but many. The end was touching and made me cry until the next one.

Thanos power

Focused mainly on villain Thanos’ story, "Infinity War" breaks all expectations of the superhero genre and narrates facts from a revolutionary and fresh perspective.

The villain is the protagonist

The best thing about "Avengers: Infinity War" is that the villain happens to be the main character. Getting to know Thanos history is one of the most innovative experiences regarding superhero cinema.

Finalmente llegué a Avengers: Infinity War y me pareció INCREÍBLE.
