Jungle Cruise (2021)★ 6.7/10

This movie doesn't bring much new; it plays it safe. It reminds me of many other great films and games in the same genre. It's perfectly fine for a younger audience. Despite some flaws, the overall viewing experience is quite enjoyable, and the chemistry between the actors is excellent. It's perfect for a family movie night with kids!

It's pretty impressive how this movie turns a simple amusement park ride into a story full of surprises and twists. The high-quality CGI creatures, the humour, and the abundance of action scenes make it a solid and enjoyable commercial movie.

This is a typical assembly-line movie. It has nothing particularly unique in style and design. The story and characters feel formulaic, and the villain is really cheesy, but the most cliché part is the romantic subplot. On the bright side, Emily Blunt's portrayal of Lily Houghton is personally the most feminine role she has ever taken on, and she looks absolutely stunning in this film.

Wow, this movie is amazing! It's a comedy packed with action sequences and adventure. The story may be cliché, but it's incredibly fun and lively. The visuals and pacing are done really well. As the story has to do with theme parks, the characters face different challenges as the plot unfolds. Overall, it's a highly enjoyable watch. Can't wait to see the sequel!

This movie kinda reminds me of the "The Mummy" or "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. Overall, it's a pretty creative idea to take a simple amusement park ride and spin it into such a complex story, with each character having a well-developed background. The casting is spot-on. The CGI animals don't look that realistic though.

This screams lack of originality and I don't know why Emily Blunt would lower herself to such a level, even though she still makes the best out of a bad, bad situation. Sure, it's fun, adventurous, amusing, even, but it's so basic and full of plot holes, I feel like it should have stayed a Disneyland ride.

Great movie, full of action and adventure, just the way I like it! The sets are beautiful and The Rock and Emily Blunt are amazing together.
