Expectations for The Drama

The Drama, the new A24 film starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, comes out this weekend.

The reviews are mixed… I'm seeing 9/10s and I'm seeing 0/5s. This has me more excited than concerned.

I expect this movie to be weird, difficult to grasp, and pretty artsy. Maybe I'm still hung up on Pattinson in Die My Love. Also, apparently there's a school shooter angle? I dunno. All I know is that I'm seated.

What do you think The Drama will be like? Are you planning on seeing it?

I go in with very low expectations, but I have a feeling, at the very least, it will be fun! Better than "Wuthering Heights", which is my baseline.

I think the performances will be great, but I fear the movie might not be as dark as it could (or should?) be

i have a lot of trust in Kristoffer Borgli. that being said, sometimes when arthouse directors go mainstream, they dont really know what to do with the money and star power. i am excited af but more like cautiously optimistic..
