My Two Cents

I mean, it's hard to go against The Godfather II. Basically the best movie ever. But imagine a year where you can go to the cinema and see that plus Chinatown, The Conversation, Phantom of the Paradise, A Woman Under the Influence  plus more… Talk about an amazing year for cinema! Also, somehow Day for Night was nominated for Best Foreign Movie in 1973 and was up for Best Director in 1974… if anyone can explain that to me, I would be grateful.
