Movie Club 5 — Things To Know
Hello, again. I'll be hosting Movie Club 5 on the Peliplat Discord this Wednesday, December 17, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. You can join the Discord through this address: https://discord.gg/f43FnSN3
Everyone is invited!
The movie we will be discussing this time is The Holy Mountain.
First things first, Trigger Warning for this movie. Although I think you can handle it, it would be irresponsible to send you into this thing without some forewarning. There's a lot of messed up stuff in this film. It's a surrealist and spiritual journey, so it desperately wants to provoke a response out of you.
Things To Know About Movie Club
1. Movie Club is a safe space for thoughtful movie discussion!
2. Movie Club will be recorded, so we can post some of the discussion's best moments on Peliplat's social media.
3. If you attend the December movie club, your name will be added to the Spinning Wheel of Wonder where the winner gets to select the movie for January's movie club! *Note: I'm thinking of trying something different in January, just fyi*
4. The movie you select for Movie Club must be a movie you've never seen before.
5. Try to watch the movie before the movie club meeting.
6. Don't be shy about sharing your opinions on the movie before (or after) Movie Club. Feel free to use Peliplat to post a short review, discussion or article about The Holy Mountain.
