What did you think of Frankenstein?

Didn't love it. Don't wanna spoil it, but the whole Mia Goth love thing was, I think, terrible. At least from her point of view, it doesn't make any sense. But maybe she was thinking she could fix him? Is there an “I can fix him” challenge article in there?

What did you think?

Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth's characters could've been combined into just one character
Or Mia Goth's character could've been combined with Christoph Waltz's too
Still, I enjoyed it!

I didn’t particularly like the whole thing with Elizabeth either. Maybe I just need to put myself in her place. She was quite a peculiar girl, fond of insects and of things that others wouldn’t call beautiful. But for now, I really liked the film, especially one of its messages: forgiveness.

I really enjoyed it. The whole thing felt very gothic fairytale and vey del Toro, which definitely helped me suspend my disbelief in certain moments. But I think the tone and the heart of the story were managed really well. And the way the monster moves was so cool to me, very insect-like for the large majority
