Spotted at #TIFF2024 - Guess the Celebrities I Saw in Toronto This Year

I did an internship at TIFF this year, and I was lucky enough to be posted in the same hotel as a major press junket. I got to watch a number of celebs walk by, and I kept a running list on my phone. I thought I could give some clues to 10 of the people I spotted, and if any Peliplatters wanted to guess who I saw in the comments, we could keep score. Who wants to play? 

Anyway, here are the clues:

1. You could say he made an ass of himself on his most famous TV show, but if you think he's a bad actor, you don't know jack. 

2. She's been the queen of Halloween since 1978, but you still see her everywhere these days, it seems like she's in everything! 

3. You've seen this guy everywhere from the tropics to the dodgeball court, or maybe heard his voice coming from an island off the coast of Africa.  

4. This actor lorded over two of the biggest trilogies of the 2000s, and it's easy to see why, he's a good fellow and handy on a ship. 

5. This memorably strange actress trained a gifted doctor, and frequently pops up in the work of the Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson. 

6. This charismatic actor starred in an ocean of classic movies, but he's known among younger movie fans for his role in the Marvel machine. 

7. The tallest actor I saw at TIFF this year, this heartthrob put fan girls into a state of euphoria, and left their boyfriends feeling burned and salty.  

8. Don't play any funny games with this actress, or you'll find yourself on the wrong end of Mulholland Drive. 

9. The academy awards are so enchanted with this actress, that if you're up against her, your Oscar chances are dead on arrival. 

10. You might think this star is a serious guy - he played sci-fi cinema's most famous warrior, but if you meet him, he's got the voice of a real joker.
