Every time Vegeta screams “I am the prince of all Saiyans,”
Fan FictionEvery time Vegeta screams “I am the prince of all Saiyans,”
he's basically saying:
“I am the prince of all vegetables.”
The Whole Saiyan Ecosystem Is a Grocery Store Vegeta - vegetable
Kakarot - carrot
Raditz - radish
Broly - broccoli
Turles - tulle → turnip
Paragus - asparagus
Nappa - napa cabbage
And then Universe 6 said "hold my salad bowl":
Caulifla - cauliflower
Kale - kale
Cabba - cabbage
Planet Sadala Planet salad…
It's basically:
Vegetable + sunlight = transformation. Photosynthesis but make it violent.
Super Saiyan transformations? Yeah... they're just produce going through photosynthesis at max power.
Vegetable god mode More fiber more flare
Solar flare that is.
The Flare Scale
Solar Flare - blinding burst of veggie light
Super Saiyan Aura - golden chlorophyll glow
God Ki - organic, pesticide-free energy
Ultra Instinct - the vegetable has transcended digestion.
The transformation pipeline is now:
♡
Base Saiyan
→ regular veggie
→ veggie in direct sunlight
Super Saiyan
Super Saiyan 2 → veggie in a greenhouse with UV lamps
Super Saiyan 3→ overgrown vine monster
Super Saiyan God → organic, gluten-free.
GMO-free produce
Super Saiyan Blue → hydroponic, filtered
water, premium Whole Foods tier
Ultra Instinct → the vegetable has achieved
enlightenment and no longer needs soil
This is the Saiyan Food Pyramid.
The Salad of Godly Fiber → the veggie becomes the sun.
Whis isn't training Goku and Vegeta for combat.
He's seasoning them.
Every time Whis says "relax your body," he means “tenderize.”
Every time Beerus says "don't disappoint me," he means “don't wilt.”
Every time Vegeta screams "I am the prince of all Saiyans,' he's basically yelling:
“I am the prince of all vegetables - please don't eat me.”
Beerus didn't adopt a warrior race. He adopted a garden.
The Real Reason Beerus Keeps Goku &t Vegeta Around
Not because they're strong.
Not because they're entertaining.
Not because they're rivals.
But because:
He's waiting for them to ripen.
At first, Vegeta thought it was a joke.
"So you're telling me my name literally means broccoli?" he demanded, staring at the ancient inscriptions. “And Super Saiyan is just a plant getting more sunlight?”
The old records offered no comfort. Every revelation made the truth sound more absurd.
“I became a god because I was... ripe?”
Beside him, Goku scratched his head thoughtfully.
“Hold on. Does that mean Beerus has been waiting for us to become dinner this whole time?”
The silence that followed was not reassuring.
"So the ultimate power of the Saiyans," Vegeta concluded, “is a salad.”
"A salad that becomes the sun," an ancient voice answered.
The records described an unsettling cosmic cycle centered on growth, harvest, and consumption. If their power truly came from some primordial connection to sunlight and biological energy, then every battle, every transformation, every generation of warriors had been part of something much older.
Goku grinned.
“Well, my training routine just got a whole new grocery list.”
But before anyone could laugh, the room trembled.
A figure collapsed to his knees.
"The power..." he gasped. “It's burning me from the inside.”
His skin radiated golden light.
“I was reaching peak flavor.”
Vegeta frowned.
“What does that mean, flavor?”
The answer came from the archive itself.
The Saiyans were not warriors.
They were produce.
A living crop cultivated across thousands of years.
And when they reached sufficient maturity, they were harvested.
The exits sealed shut.
The lights dimmed.
Panic spread through the chamber.
"They're going to consume the power," someone whispered.
The walls groaned as ancient machinery awakened around them.
“I'm trapped in here with them.”
Then another voice echoed through the darkness.
“No. It's not just me.”
Dozens of voices answered.
“You're all awake.”
Ghostly figures began appearing throughout the room.
The missing trainees.
The ones who had vanished without explanation during the previous weeks.
One spirit reached forward desperately.
“You shouldn't have come here. You'll make me remember.”
"Remember what?" Goku asked.
The figure looked around in horror.
“What is this place?”
The answer emerged from every shadow at once.
“A garden.”
The walls opened, revealing endless rows of glowing pods.
“And we are the fruit.”
The survivor screamed.
“No. No, no, no.”
His aura flared uncontrollably.
"Stay calm," another ghost warned. “Don't glow.”
The light intensified.
“Stop it. Just stop.”
Ancient symbols illuminated across the floor.
The archive had the answers.
But every answer revealed a greater nightmare.
Every time the survivor fought against the process, it grew stronger.
Desperately, they forced the archive to reveal the truth.
“Show me who you've taken.”
Thousands of names appeared.
Entire generations.
Warriors erased from history.
All harvested.
All consumed.
The survivor searched frantically.
“They were here last week. Training beside me.”
The archive displayed another file.
A name.
A countdown.
“Who's next?”
The answer appeared immediately.
Caulifla.
Ripeness: Critical.
The survivor staggered backward.
“No.”
The next course had already been chosen.
And it was them.
They fled the facility before the harvesters arrived.
Their only lead came from fragmented records mentioning a rogue botanist who had abandoned the ancient order centuries ago.
Perhaps he could stop the process.
Or perhaps it was a trap.
Deep within a forgotten desert laboratory, they found him.
The old scientist greeted them with an unsettling smile.
“The overripe fruit has finally rolled to my door.”
“I felt your photosynthetic surge.”
Machines hummed to life around the room.
"What can you do?" Goku asked.
The botanist glanced at the glowing survivor.
“Un-ripening is not a gentle pruning.”
He activated a series of strange chambers.
“It is a reversal of cellular destiny.”
“Then do it.”
“Before they find the scent.”
The scientist's expression darkened.
“The roots must consume the blossom.”
Suddenly alarms erupted throughout the facility.
The old man sighed.
“Perfect timing.”
Outside, the desert had fallen silent.
Far too silent.
The wind carried strange whispers through the dunes.
"It's listening," Vegeta warned.
Then his eyes narrowed.
“They're coming from the west.”
The sand itself seemed alive.
“The desert whispers of their hunger.”
The survivor clenched their fists.
“You smell my fear?”
The horizon began moving.
Millions of shapes advanced beneath the sand.
“Come and taste it.”
But something even worse emerged first.
“No.”
The botanist's face turned pale.
“It's not them.”
A colossal shadow rose from the dunes.
“It's the Guardian.”
Back inside the laboratory, the experimental serum entered the survivor's bloodstream.
Golden energy erupted through every cell.
“The serum is binding.”
The monitors exploded with readings.
"It doesn't hurt," the survivor whispered.
In fact, it felt wonderful.
“It feels sweet.”
Outside, plants burst from the desert floor.
Entire ecosystems awakened.
The planet itself reacted.
The scientist stared at the growing energy storm.
“The entire biome is responding.”
Flowers bloomed for miles.
Roots split mountains.
Forests appeared where only sand had existed.
The scent spread across the world.
A biological signal impossible to ignore.
"A beacon," the botanist realized.
Every predator in the ancient food chain would feel it.
Then a voice echoed throughout the laboratory.
Deep.
Hungry.
Triumphant.
“Ah...”
The walls shook.
The containment field flickered.
“The main course is served.”
The survivor screamed as the power continued to increase.
“It's not stopping.”
Energy spiraled out of control, pulling in every source around it.
Machines shattered.
The containment field collapsed.
The scientist stared at the monitors in horror.
“He's already here.”
And somewhere beyond the storm, something ancient and ravenous smiled as it came to claim the harvest.
