This movie will always hold a special place in my heart because, besides being one of the best films of the 80s, it's also one of my childhood favorites, even though I watched it dozens of times as a kid.

"Predator" works as a macho action film, a bloody horror film, and an intriguing science fiction film, and despite its short runtime of only 100 minutes, it somehow manages to find space for all three elements. The fact that it stars action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger ensures that the film will always be fondly remembered. The plot is simple and follows a group of commandos who head into the jungle on a secret mission. However, things go wrong when they discover they aren't the only armed ones there.

The jungle is a perfect setting for an action and science fiction film like this one; the atmosphere of this film is truly excellent, and the special effects help create a futuristic tone, while the suspense builds.

Predator is a film that never received the recognition it deserves. It's lighthearted entertainment.

Yess, this is so fun! I'm curious to know what about the atmosphere specifically really resonates with you! Is there a specific scene, or dialogue, or music, or shot that really stood out to you?

One of my favourite movies growing up. The only thing I'd change about it is at the beginning, when they show the space ship. I think it would be even better if they'd kept that hidden, so you'd be wondering what the hell that thing is. Still, super cool movie

This movie feels like a hyper-violent saturday morning cartoon! Makes sense that you loved it so much as a kid
