Yes, Chef, Yes, The Bear Season 4 is good!
General ReviewsThere‘s something incredible about this show called The Bear and it‘s the way it‘s written, structured and delivered to the audiences. I really enjoyed the storyline of Carmy Berzatto, and the ability of writer-director Christopher Storer in capture the essence of a kitchen.

When it first debuted, the show was used as an example of what to do and what not in a kitchen for new beginners, and as the show progressed, it was more than that. It‘s a story about pain, loneliness and survival and finding your true self between the things you love the most and after a boring Season 3, this new season came to improve the game.
What I love so far about it is that this could be the ending that we were expecting, but with the news that they got a renewal for Season 5 was hopeful. This season was different, because it was a calmer and more devoted storyline, where the characters started to open more about their feelings and insecurities and the story of Carmy evolved in a way that it felt different from the tone of the show.

Some cameos were neccesary, some others serve as a distraction, but the script offered real progress on where the show is headed and with the main cast performances, they deliver the most vunerable sides and that‘s a great way to show how good this series is.
Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri provide some excellent work this season, even the last episode where it all takes place behind the alley of the restaurant and it‘s just an extended conversation that let out some truths and how the restaurant will go from there. Provided closure in a way, but they managed to get the season in full order, where the previous one was a little tender in storyline, slow paced and nothing happened, affected by the writer‘s strike.
Season 4 delivered why we fall in love with this show in the first place, by doing excellent camerawork and those things that made The Bear an excellent comedy-drama show about the inside world of a kitchen.

Rate overall: 9/10
