This drama adopts a classic Western style. The first episode is entirely focused on survival during the apocalypse. The heroine doesn’t speak and mostly observes the surroundings. The 40-min episode simply covers scenes of the ground, the bunker, and the heroine setting up a ladder. If you've already seen the first season, you can grasp the essential plot in just one minute.

This concept is similar to "Fallout".The bunker is just one of many shelters out there.

The world-building is rather meh and uninnovative by current standards. The suspense and mystery elements are mediocre. The pacing at the beginning and end is managed well, but the middle segments are lackluster. I would probably still watch the next season.

I've always found anti-utopian themes fascinating, as they highlight the absurdity of extremes—the level one lives on denote one's social status, and life is tightly controlled and monitored. It's suffocating to even think about.

Every aspect, from the sci-fi elements to the anti-utopian theme and suspense, are mediocre. The social structure is somewhat illogical, and there are numerous bugs in the details, at times making me feel like I'm watching a superhero show.

The first and last two episodes are particularly stunning and directly relate to its overarching sci-fi theme, crafting an appealing post-apocalyptic dystopia through its creative and riveting plot and concept .

Each episode is a standalone story filled with suspense. This post-apocalyptic worldview slightly resembles that of "The Wandering Earth"; it seems that human predictions about the future are pretty similar.

Another series with a dystopian future setting that starts off intriguingly, with inhabitants waking to the realisation that they can venture outside beyond their silo. However, viewers are already clued into the fact that the outside is indeed accessible and that there's a dark secret as to why the characters aren't allowed to do so. I hope this story unveils some novelty.

The pacing in the first season wasn't great, but overall, it's still worth watching, especially when you get hooked on Juliette's quest to uncover the truth and find yourself getting more and more curious about the world outside. And when it ends, you are left wanting more.

I've always been fascinated by dystopian themes because sometimes it takes rather extreme case scenarios to really show how ridiculous certain things can eventually be. Just the thought of everything needing approval and strict surveillance is suffocating... But the lead actress is incredible—she's both tech-savvy and incredibly brave.
