The connection to gaming is a common theme in web novels, making Overlord feel unoriginal. Additionally, though the plot is decent, some aspects of the art style are lacking and the sound quality and sound effects could be better.

The initial episode of Overlord, where the protagonist finds himself in a game world as a max-level character, was interesting, but the subsequent plot becomes tedious.

It is a thrilling isekai anime that I managed to watch in one sitting. The unconventional main character setup is memorable, and the pacing is comfortable, which kept me engaged throughout the series.

Watching it for the third time, I still find the setting exceptionally well-crafted and the world fascinating. However, I wonder how a human player who transformed into a top character in a game world would genuinely empathize with unfamiliar NPCs.

Overlord features an expansive setting, though it remains to be seen if the series can fully explain its background and settings later on. The combat, resembling a turn-based strategy game where actions are determined by vocal commands, is unique. There are many foreshadowing that promise a good story if executed well.

The characters in Overlord aren't visually appealing, the plot is uninteresting, and the production is quite average. If I must point out a highlight, it’s the well-crafted skeletal dragon.

Es un anime isekai emocionante que logré ver todo corrido. El montaje principal poco convencional de los personajes es memorable y el ritmo es tranquilo, lo que me mantuvo con interés a lo largo de toda la serie.

Al verla por tercera vez, todavía creo que el montaje está excepcionalmente bien hecho y el mundo es fascinante. Sin embargo, me pregunto cómo un jugador humano que se transformó en uno de los mejores jugadores en un mundo de juegos podría empatizar genuinamente con NPC desconocidos.
