Dragon Ball Z (1989)★ 8.9/10

Dragon Ball Z Manages to be excellent throughout every single episode, with every character feeling vibrant and likable.

Dragon Ball Z is the best anime I have ever watched—its classic status is irreplaceable, surpassing Naruto, One Piece, and even Slam Dunk in my heart.

It lacks the charm of the original installment, with many fight scenes being rather superficial and uncreative, while plot lines are often repeated.

While not as memorable as its predecessor and plagued by a dragging plot, Dragon Ball Z nonetheless remains a classic within the Dragon Ball series.

Dragon Ball Z is considered the peak of the series, marking a new era and entering a new realm of possibilities. Itseamlessly continues the plot and is yet stylistically distinct from the original Dragon Ball.

A timeless classic that remains compelling even after numerous revisiting. To think that such quality animation was produced in 1989! Goku will always be my hero.

Although Dragon Ball Z expanded its scope beyond Earth, it lost the innocence and joy of the original series. Watching Goku's childhood adventures brought happiness and a sense of nostalgia, but as Goku grew up, the series shifted its focus towards pure action, losing its initial innocent charm.

The Dragon Ball series constituted a significant part of my unforgettable student days, and this installment is even better. Watching Goku’s growth and strength evolve also helped me improve myself.

Having watched Dragon Ball Z for many years, I find the Namek and Buu Sagas particularly delightful, as they mix wit and brawls in an entertaining fashion. Stories that bring together a large group of family and friends for everyday life and adventures are my favorites.

The fervor of Dragon Ball deeply resonates with me. Goku, with his kindness, bravery, enthusiasm, and simplicity, embodies qualities that, though increasingly overlooked or criticized in today's society, continue to profoundly inspire me.

Revisiting Dragon Ball Z brought back many emotions. As a child, I could only watch up to the teaser of Goku's brother arriving before broadcasts ceased, leaving me to follow through with the plot by reading the manga. Watching it in its entirety now, I find it profoundly moving. It's undeniably a classic.
