It took me ten episodes to get used to its unique humor, which is extremely different from the serious crime dramas I'm used to. Despite the constant laughters, I know I'd be exasperated if I had to deal with someone like Sheldon in real life.

My favorite sitcom to date, "The Big Bang Theory" is an endlessly entertaining show that has captured my full attention with its lovable characters.

“The Big Bang Theory” is one of the most popular comedies of all time! Every character on the show is almost as funny as the others. Everyone has their favorites, but all are funny. The show keeps its focus on the four main characters and their significant others. You really end up caring about what happens to these hilarious characters. Whether you like this show or not, there's no denying that it's one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. All you have to do is look at the ratings, see how much the cast was paid, and consider that it's airing all the time. While I wouldn't exactly put it among my favorite comedies of all time, I would say that it's still a pretty fun show. You'll know how wildly popular the show is because, when it was ending, it felt like it was the end of an era.

If the ending of “Friends” made me ecstatic, then the finale of “The Big Bang Theory” was genuinely moving and heartwarming. Sheldon's last speech really brought tears to my eyes. Everyone can relate to these characters, as they represent the changes we experience in life, and their resilience is truly valuable. I'll dry my tears and continue on with life as they have, because I'm now the same age as they were when they first came together.

The Big Bang Theory brings quirky and misfit characters, and that's where its brilliance lies. With a simple premise to understand and get into the groove, the series manages to elevate humor with its atypical characters. Those who are close to being 'normal' end up being the exceptions, and its numerous references to pop culture make everything more enjoyable.

Old but gold

Living proof that it is possible to make a successful lengthy TV show without butchering its character's backstories.

Funny - Witty - Haha! - oh.

Started out with a bang, extremely smart writing and witty dialogues that made us laugh whether we knew what the characters were talking about or not (which we didn't, most of the time, and that was intentional- which was also very good and smart on their part). Characters were super interesting individually and also, funny, had great personalities of their own and were able to play off of each other great; they only got lost when they started wanting to do too much. It was so-and-so's mother here, this one's girlfriend there, and, considering the original premise, there was nowhere to go, they strayed too far off and got lost, I think. That made me sort of unlike the whole thing?

Everybody loves Amy

Contains spoilers
Amy was one of the best addictions to the show. She was annoying at first, but her character grew a lot after her friendship with Penny. It’s great how the show led her to be one of the protagonists, even becoming a Nobel winner with Sheldon at the end.

We are family

I like how detailed they are about the characters lives. Meeting their families is an important part of being close to someone. Sheldon’s mom is my favorite one, mostly because of the amazing performance of Laurie Metcalf.

New couples

Amy and Bernadette are surprisingly good, they are the new characters the show needed. I like seeing the guys growing up when they start dating them.

Different

Contains spoilers
In my opinion, the show lost its core when they decided to create love interests to the guys. It used to be all about the life of lonely nerds, after that it’s like watching something completely different.

Howard’s space trip is one of the best plots in the show. It’s funny seeing his short interactions with the astronauts and with his friends on Earth. The episode in which he comes back is one of my favorites on the entire show.
