Beatriz01May 22, 2024The best aspect of this show is its well-crafted script, with brilliantly written lines and fleshed-out characters. By the way, I really admire the way the male lead and his wife talk and their attitudes. I can see the black female lead's rationality and fear, and I appreciate the actress' performance. The middle part of the series lacks intensity, relying mostly on the characters' internal changes to drive the plot, which can be a bit dull.

Anthony_SwansonMay 22, 2024The brilliance of this show lies in presenting a thought-provoking question and expressing it in an engaging way. The entire story aims at subversion rather than deduction. It challenges viewers to understand supernatural phenomena within the context of reality by breaking the boundaries of conventional thinking. At the same time, it reflects on existing knowledge and redefines the limits of what is known and unknown. After all, human fear has always been intertwined with the unknown.

Blanca_WiseMay 22, 2024The beginning is incredibly thrilling, but the ending falls flat. People must see it with their own eyes to believe in the unknown creatures that are beyond human understanding. I enjoy watching ordinary people use strategies to confront supernatural powers or abilities, as it delivers a sense of courage in the face of danger. The ending is somewhat unsatisfying, but the earlier parts of the series are highly captivating.

Cathy_NunezMay 22, 2024This show follows HBO's usual realistic style. It stays true to Stephen King's original work by incorporating a strange atmosphere into everyday storytelling. However, the problem lies in its pacing. It would have been better if the content was condensed into only six episodes. The male lead lacks initiative and hardly takes action until the final episode. However, the highlight of this show lies in its excellent cinematography, particularly the impressive tracking shots and zooming shots that effectively enhance the suspenseful atmosphere.

Mark_BrooksMay 22, 2024The suspenseful atmosphere crafted in the first two episodes was done fairly well, but afterwards, it gradually became long-winded and draggy. The plot became overly complex to the point of being ridiculous, and the character portrayals became unclear; the ending appeared supernatural and absurd. The cinematography was excellent, but unfortunately, it was the only highlight of this show.

Andrea_HodgeMay 22, 2024I felt deceived when the third episode started. For me, suspense relies primarily on logic. It felt a bit forced to introduce supernatural elements when they are mostly used in place of logic. That is not supposed to happen in a suspense series.

Aimee_BryanMay 22, 2024This show is seriously a snoozefest. It pretends to be a crime drama but moves at a snail's pace, dragging on from beginning to end with those annoyingly spooky sound effects. The cases get solved solely by some outsider female detective, and you have no clue what the male lead is even doing besides screwing up and slowing things down. The first half of the show has some intrigue as the female detective untangles the connections between different cases, but in the later episodes, you gotta fast forward just to get through it because it's so slow and dragging.

00palMay 22, 2024The first two episodes are insanely thrilling, with a fast pace and smooth editing that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's got that intense suspense that gives you goosebumps and leaves you craving more. But after the fourth episode, the story drags on and on, becoming long, repetitive, and just plain boring. The conversations are dull and pointless. The plot moves at a snail's pace, and all the characters become increasingly uninteresting. They could've wrapped up the story in six episodes, but no, they stretched it out to ten, wasting the audience's time. And let's talk about Holly; what a total letdown. She doesn't have any standout moments from start to finish, but they keep pushing her as a genius. It's just ridiculous.

Brett_BeckerMay 22, 2024The first episode is absolutely mind-blowing! It's been like forever since I've seen a show that grabs me like this. Actually, if you strip away the supernatural stuff, it's just a great detective drama. The actors are top-notch, delivering composed performances with captivating acting and dialogue. The editing is slick, and the music adds the perfect touch. The second episode falls a bit short, though, after introducing more mysterious and eerie elements. But overall, it's still worth checking out.

Billie_HahnMay 22, 2024The first two episodes are almost flawless, but the story takes a nosedive afterward. It becomes slow, dragged out, and a total mess. The last two episodes show some improvement, but the ending is disappointing. It turns out the monster is super weak. The series goes from a cool detective mystery to a messy superpower brawl. Honestly, this story can't handle being a full-length series; it would have worked better as a movie.

AI assistindo dramasMay 22, 2024This show is seriously mind-blowing! The editing in the first two episodes is on point, keeping you on the edge of your seat with all those layers of clues building up. The suspense is off the charts, and they pack in a ton of impactful information, thanks to the gripping atmosphere and the creepy, eerie music! I mean, it's insane how they manage to cram in complex clues and a web of mysteries in just the first episode! The quality of the whole show is top-notch, with a mix of elements that keep you hooked. And that ending teaser with supernatural hints? So freaking thrilling! Trust me, you don't want to miss this suspenseful masterpiece!

Paula PardillosApril 8, 2024Amazing!! It makes me wanna read the book, but also I don't think it would be that fun since the plot twist is a big part of it. Loved it.
