You Are the Film (2026)★ 7.3/10

Fantastic! I am a volunteer with the Fantasia Film Festival in Montréal, and I was able to catch this with a free ticket. At first, I wondered about the length of the film and the basic premise - maybe too meta - but I sat through this grinning, laughing and almost screaming with delight, along with an audience that does have specific demands for films that were all met here.
I really do not want to spoil this one except to say that it involves a woman and a man in the same neighbourhood who meet and help each other through extraordinary circumstances.
Find it when you can!
