Still fantastic. It stays true to the first movie's story framework and character design. Each character undergoes growth with their own unique character arc. They conquer their fears, regain confidence, challenge authority, search for their true selves, and even experience love. The joy that the first movie brought us is back. The pacing is tight, the laughs keep coming, and there are even more hit songs in this film compared to the previous one. The story, characters, and scenes are all well-executed, and the concept of humanity is skillfully and seamlessly integrated.

Honestly, this sequel doesn't hold much significance. Unlike the first movie, it tells a story about a team adventure, lacking the emotional tension that made the first one so powerful. It feels like they designed various sequences just to be flashy and exciting. Sure, there are still some touching moments here and there. However, Bono's portrayal as a cameo superstar falls flat and feels like a letdown.

I watched this one at home, but I can only imagine how fantastic the audiovisual effects must be in a movie theater. The musical at the end was even more spectacular than a live performance. It's clear that while creativity in animated films might be dwindling, popular music still holds a strong presence. The previous movie seemed to have exhausted all its creative ideas, but this one still manages to captivate, injecting some slapstick elements into the music videos. I think it would be even more exciting if they focused solely on a two-hour concert rather than emphasizing the plot in the new sequel.

It's AMAZING! The first movie was about a talent show, and this one takes it to a whole new level by showcasing how a team comes together to create a mind-blowing performance on a global stage. The story has expanded beautifully, introducing several new characters with unique traits while still featuring the beloved main characters from the previous film. I can't wait for the new sequel!

It's essentially a meaningless sequel; the emotional tension of the first film cannot be replicated. At that time, Moon's efforts to save the theater and the success of the show were driven by the alignment of the main and subplots. Now it has become a team adventure trip. Various scenes are just there for the flashiness of it, while the occasionally touching moments - featuring the little piglets and the mobster dad - rely on the groundwork laid in the first film. Bono was boring in this film.

Absolutely fantastic! If the first film was about a talent show, this one is about teamwork to put on a stage performance that'll take the world by storm. In addition to retaining the distinct personalities of the main characters from the first film, several new characters with even more unique traits are introduced, expanding the story's scope and raising the audience's expectations for the third installment.

The movie was extremely fun to watch! Hope they start working on Sing 3 very soon

Taking from the last film in this saga, I guess we'll be expecting some great vocals accompanied by some really well developed animation, supported by a mediocre script. Though I'm sure the little ones won't be too judgy about the script like I am.
