With the "Despicable Me" series on its fourth movie, it's starting to feel like they're running out of ideas. Even with the Minions taking center stage again, they're not really doing anything new or exciting. The movie isn't very funny or original, and the plot feels like they're just doing the same old stuff again. It mostly just relies on the Minions being noisy to keep people awake.

I'd give this movie a 4.5 out of 10. It feels like they just tacked on another sequel for no reason, using the same old stuff from before. Even though it's not very long, it feels like it drags on forever. The bad guy is pretty weak, and while there are some funny moments, they don't really have any substance. The movie relies too much on nostalgia to keep people interested, and the climax, where all the villains meet up in prison, is just awkward. The only good thing about it is the cute Minions.

This movie is one of the weakest in the series. The plot is all over the place, and it feels like they were just trying to create chaos without really having a solid story. The supermarket scene was kind of funny, but overall, it was still not as funny as the previous movies in this series. And that ending song was just weird; honestly, it didn't wrap things up satisfactorily.

The quality of this series has gone down a bit, with the Minions taking up a lot of screen time but not really doing anything new or exciting. The Megaminions part wasn't very good, and some of the classic Minion characters were missing, leaving us with just Gru fighting the villains. It's kind of boring to see the same thing over and over again. By the way, one cool thing was that Valentina's voice is so recognizable that it immediately reminded me of Gloria from "Modern Family."

This new movie is all about heartwarming family moments, and the Minions are still as cute as ever. It's not as action-packed as the others, but it pulls on your heartstrings with some subtle emotions. This franchise is trying out some new things, and making it into a series might be a good way to dig deeper into the characters and tell more complex stories. Even though the IMAX tech isn't fully utilized, this movie is still a great way to chill out and laugh with your family. Overall, it's a really enjoyable movie, and I can't wait to see what else they can come up with.

This movie is delightful with a simple story and lovable characters, which includes the bad guys. You don't have to think too hard or get too emotional. It's just a fun 90 minutes with all kinds of stuff going on - like Maxime trying to get revenge, the mutated Minions acting all different, the family dressing up in disguises, and so on. It's guaranteed to make you laugh.

People like Poppy because she's all about being a bad guy, but Gru wants to be a hero. However, we were expecting a story about villainy, not heroism. In the earlier movies, Gru's character wasn't that interestingly written, so people liked the Minions more. But even the Minion parts in this movie weren't very new or exciting. If you want to see some good Minion stuff, you should just watch "Despicable Me 3" again.

This movie felt like a bunch of short films were just slapped together to make one longer movie. The plot was pretty predictable, and some parts didn't really flow well together. You could probably cut out a few of the stories, and the movie wouldn't miss a beat. That's why some people might find it a bit confusing and think the story wasn't being taken seriously.

Even though the movie had a fresh, unique format, I just didn't feel that same connection with Gru that I did before. Like, he wasn't really acting like a responsible dad or showing the kind of toughness you'd expect from a bad guy. He still cares, but mostly for his friends and sticking to the rules. The scriptwriter piled on too many characters and clues, but they were just merely used to extend the runtime, the story didn't come together smoothly. It was a bit of a letdown, honestly.

The movie is still entertaining, but the plot can't be more dull. There isn't much going on. On the other hand, the production quality is still top-notch. And that ending with all the old villains from before was a nice surprise. It added something extra to the movie.

I'd give this movie a 4.4 out of 10. The "Despicable Me" franchise is definitely a part of my childhood memories, but this sequel left me feeling really disappointed. The plot was boring, the script was awkward, and the new characters didn't add anything. It felt like a bunch of cute moments thrown together instead of a real movie. And they seemed to have tried really hard to make a real ending to the whole series, with all the old villains showing up, which was kind of funny, but it was one of the only few good things.

This is the worst one in the series. It's like the writers were just scraping the bottom of the barrel. The story is a mess, the plot is all over the place, and the characters and short clips feel like they were just thrown together to keep people interested. There's no big moment, the bad guy is boring, the characters don't change, and even the superhero Minions lose their charm. And that final prison choir scene? It's like they're just making fun of us. Maybe it's time to let this floundering franchise go.
