Spoilers# It's better than the first, and I think the director knows what the audience likes to see. The faces of the monsters are visible now, which makes them less scary, but the setups of dangerous situations are much more exciting. One of my favorites is the montage where the daughter, mom and little brother are all in danger at the same time, and where the daughter and brother ultimately kill the monster is really cool! The story is not finished at the end! Is there going to be a chapter 3? I’m looking forward to it! PS. Still marvelling at how Emily Blunt is still so beautiful in such a situation!

SuperDCM+October 23, 2023I really can't say no to a movie that focuses on the setup of visuals and audio. The sequel expands on the concept of the first one, and the writers know exactly what kind of trade-offs should be made for the sequel, including how to begin the story. The characters are given different tasks to perform afterwards, and the editing merging three storylines into two is brilliant, but it would’ve been better if they had been merged into a single storyline at the end. The biggest problem with a lot of thrillers and suspense movies is over-explaining, but A Quiet Place series does a great job of avoiding that.

The formula is still the same as the first one, which is to frighten you using jump scares, but it’s time-tested, and the atmosphere is created quite well. The monsters make more frequent appearances in the sequel and it is still largely entertaining. However, the problem is the same as the first movie, too; a lot of the plot doesn't stand up to scrutiny, and the creation and resolution of some of the crises are too raw and contrived.

here are some questions about these monsters: do they attack animals in the wild or just humans? Why are they so drawn to humans? If they die from gunshot, why didn’t the armys dealt with them? Why do some objects don't make any sound when they touch the ground and other stuff make so much noise?

Spoilers# É melhor que o primeiro, e acho que o diretor sabe o que o público gosta de ver. Os rostos dos monstros são visíveis agora, o que os tornam menos assustadores, mas as configurações de situações perigosas são muito mais emocionantes. Uma das minhas favoritas é a montagem na qual a filha, a mãe e o irmãozinho estão em perigo ao mesmo tempo, e quando a filha e o irmão matam o monstro é bem legal! A história não termina no final! Haverá uma parte 3? Estou ansiosa para isso! Ps: ainda maravilhada como a Emily Blunt ainda é bonita em tal situação.

A sequência expande o conceito do primeiro e os roteiristas sabem exatamente que tipo de compensação deve ser feita, incluindo como começar a história. Os personagens recebem tarefas diferentes; a edição que mescla três histórias em duas é brilhante, mas teria sido melhor se elas tivessem sido fundidas em uma única. O maior problema com muitos thrillers é a explicação exagerada, mas a série "Um Lugar Silencioso" faz um ótimo trabalho evitando isso.

A fórmula é a mesma do primeiro filme: assustar com jump scares; a atmosfera foi muito bem criada; os monstros fazem mais aparições; mas o problema também é o mesmo do primeiro filme: grande parte da trama não resiste a um exame minucioso; a criação e resolução de alguns conflitos são muito cruas.
