Today, I learned the term "anti-plot film," where the narrative progresses through coincidences rather than logical storytelling, emphasizing the chaos of life. Titled Pulp Fiction, it tells commonplace, vulgar stories interconnected by unexpected twists and transitions.

A hallmark of nonlinear storytelling, "Pulp Fiction" is ingeniously structured with profound dialogues. Each character possesses admirable qualities, yet they inevitably descend into darkness and confusion. The interwoven segments connect beginning to end, suggesting that such events occur perpetually in reality.

Tarantino is right; the absurdity, plot twists, extensive dialogue, non-linear storytelling, and constant puzzle-solving are staples in crime novels. However, due to the high cost of filmmaking, the need for multiple script approvals, and the balance of risk and reward, most films end up choosing safer, more familiar narratives. Tarantino's success with this film has expanded investors' understanding of what audiences can accept, pushing the boundaries of conventional storytelling.

Quentin Tarantino uses the most visceral and extreme artistic methods to portray sin in "Pulp Fiction." Every character is deeply flawed, indulging in drugs, promiscuity, and murder, making the audience shocked and making them reflect. The intricate narrative, combined with outstanding dialogue and performances, elevates vulgarity to a form of cinematic art.

I don't think it is a ring structure at all

The salted fish turned over, and the strong were raped. It must be the best movie of Quentins. But I don't think this can be called a ring structure at all, at most, it is an out-of-order structure. And I still don't understand why it is out of order. The real ring structure is"Before the Rain". Regardless of it, the contingency issues explored in the film are refreshing.

Killing dialogues

The peculiar narrative structure of this movie makes it an unconventional crime story. Prepare yourself to see gallons of fake blood while laughing at the absurdities Quentin Tarantino comes up with.

One of the best Tarantino movies

The relationship with drugs and violence leaves these mobs standing in two opposite places by the end of the movie. Would you rather follow Jules or Vincent?

Tarantino's best movie

The combination between a fragmented narrative, magnificent dialogues and charismatic characters resulted in strong and violent scenes that made of this movie a key piece of the universal pop culture.

Una película con conversaciones interminables, a veces absurdas, a veces ridículas pero siempre interesantes. Llena de violencia y humor.
