Monsters, Inc. (2001)★ 8.3/10

A Pixar masterpiece like this always finds an audience with its creativity, cuteness, humor, and emotion. Even though the plot isn't as outstanding as I expected, the production team really nailed it with other aspects, as well as the surprising little nods to "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo" in the girl's room!

It's still a heartwarming and touching little story, drawing from the world of Monsters, Inc. and packed with plenty of imagination. That's why I never get tired of watching Pixar animations. I especially love how they use the "door" imagery, and it really sticks with me, whether it's for the good or bad characters. Also, the idea of "collecting energy" reminds us that we need more kindness and smiles because life can be tough.

I remember when I watched it for the first time, people were crying wildly at home. Later, I bought another Blu-ray and watched it again. It seemed that I was getting closer to the monsters. It turned out that in 2001, the hair 3D technology of PIXAR animation was so realistic. Once again, I lament PIXAR's creativity and imagination. The best part is this idea. The animation process of PIXAR may be very similar, but the ideas are all unique.

One of my top 5 favorite animation movies, I love how different and original each character is, as is the plot, the visuals, I love everything about this movie. Seriously in my hall of untouchables.

Although their purpose is to be scary, the monsters in "Monsters, Inc." are the funniest, most picturesque and friendly creatures of Pixar collection of characters.

A world full of monsters that are not as scary as one may think. "Monsters, Inc." moves us away from our fears and leads us to find out that laughter may be the best alternative.
