Tension is present in every scene of the film. Everything in the film is wonderful.

It's a stroke of genius that became more than clear in this film, which makes it clear why it's one of the best, one of the best stories in the genre. Leonardo DiCaprio and his marvelous talent.

And the legend Jack Nicholson in a memorable, incredible performance.

8.5/10. This movie differs from the Hong Kong version because it doesn't go too deep into the identity crisis stuff. Instead, it's more about the cops and robbers playing this cat-and-mouse game. It starts with two separate stories that kind of go their own way, and they remind me of Quentin Tarantino – a lot of talking, cursing, violence, and jokes that will make you burst out laughing. The editing and music are both really good, and the plot twists at the end are amazing, bringing back all the classic heist movie elements.

This movie is like a great mix of method acting and montage techniques, and it gives a whole new spin to the story and the message compared to the original. Martin Scorsese wishes to express that no matter how hard we try, our destinies are already set in stone. The line between right and wrong, good and evil gets blurry because we don't have a choice. This movie is really great. Scorsese is talented as always, and Jack Nicholson's performance is top-notch.

Trust no one

After working together in "The Aviator", Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio join forces once more to bring us one of the most frenetic tension crime movies of their careers.

An experience full of tension

The Departed shows the dangers to which police officers are exposed when they accept to work as undercover agents. A movie that has a top-level production and cast.

Non-stop tension

A funny and intriguing spy story where the tension surpasses the screen, for the audience has some valuable information that should better not fall into the hands of the characters. Definitely, a unique experience.
