Paula PardillosMarch 8, 2024I mean, the vision of Darth Maul took me off the film for a minute there, but in summon it is as eerie as it can be. Would recommend.

Let's Talk About...November 3, 2023
Let's Talk About...November 3, 2023The best horror movie I've seen in recent years that gave me a renewed adrenaline rush. It has almost all the elements of the 'haunted house' theme, and I can tell from which classic and recent horror movies it drew its inspirations. It's crafted with great maturity in techniques with a distinct Japanese influence. The indoor sets are excellent, though I was worried that the “otherworld” parts would fall apart. While the scale was limited, the results were more than satisfactory. James Wan is definitely a fanbase oriented director, in that his trademark puppets always show up.

pixieneNovember 3, 2023The atmosphere, the editing, the composition, the sound effects, and the pacing are just too good. The second half is intense throughout, with the big turn of events at the end as usual. It's completely over the top! Having watched The Conjuring and Dead Silence, I realized that James Wan is truly the master of American horror films.

thinkmillerNovember 3, 2023It's amazing how James Wan could make such a ridiculous story so thrilling and scary! The atmosphere is masterfully crafted, with the first half being so suspenseful and scary that you would literally break out in cold sweat. The second half takes a turn but doesn't ruin the vibe at all, instead it adds more tensions to the story! The cinematography is excellent, and the soundtracks shake the soul! It's a great American horror movie, and you have to watch it in HD with lights off and headphones on for the full experience.

sweet_ojverMarch 24, 2021The perfect balance between tension and terror
This film invites us to experience horror in a different way, dosing the scaring scenes until reaching the perfect balance between tension and terror. One of today’s best horror movies.

Jenny WallJuly 14, 2025Me parece que la película está buenísima!!! Esta super poco valorada para lo que es. Las Primera escenas de la actriz sola en la casa son super aterradoras!
